 THE PANTRY UPDATE

‘Nourishing the spirit of generosity and wellbeing in the community’

Belinda has been busy in the kitchen in the past few weeks. Our freezer has been filled with delicious homely meals. She is trying to keep up refilling the famous potato bake, if you haven’t tried it yet, it’s a must have! Our frozen meals are made with locally sourced ingredients from right here in Southland. They have been popular for their convenience, their taste and affordability.

The local growers are still supplying The Pantry with their fresh vegetables delivered every Tuesday. Enjoy fresh salads for the new barbecue season starting!

This November, fill out your form to order some delicious truffles for Christmas, don’t go through the hassle of baking, we are here to wow your colleagues, school teachers and in-laws with our selection of truffles and Christmas baking. Form will be available at the counter from early November and you can even sample our selection of truffles!  With the busy time of Christmas functions on its way, our catering service is a great option for a smooth event. We provide tasty nibbles and you support our community, it’s a win-win!

RANGATAHI (YOUTH) UPDATE

A massive ngā mihi to all of our young artists who participated in our Rangatahi Creatives Exhibition. We had 25 entries this time around, and we just feel so proud to be able to display this amazing talent in our space.

The Exhibition was part of the Arts Murihiku Arts Trail. We opened for a full Saturday and had lots of people through, who were in admiration of the creativity of our young people.

Thank you for coming and supporting the passion, confidence and mahi the Rangatahi put into these exhibitions.
