Dog Park

Purpose

To achieve the establishment and successful running of a dog park and agility course in South Invercargill

What was achieved:

  • South Alive identified all possible locations in South Invercargill, assessed them, and pursued chosen site through to obtaining Council agreement to fund and construct the dog park

  • The dog park opened in October 2013.

  • Some scoping work was done to investigate developing an agility course in the dog park, however due to a lack of volunteers this has not been progressed any further.
