We are so excited to let you know that The Pod, South Invercargill's new community centre is open and ready for community groups, social groups and businesses to use!  We're extremely grateful to our key funders, the Community Trust of Southland, the Invercargill Licensing Trust, the ILT Foundation, Southern Trust, and the Lottery Grants Board for their strong support and generous funding to get us to this point.  We must also acknowledge the huge support and hours of work that our major supporters and volunteers have put in to make this happen - thank you!

There are two rooms in The Pod available for booking by anyone in the community.  The back room has a table that seats up to twelve people and is a closed-off space, great when you need privacy or are discussing something confidential.  There is one whiteboard available for use also.  The front room is a more social space, also seating up to about twelve people and this is also where the tea and coffee-making facilities are, and a fridge and microwave are available for use.
Bookings need to be made through the South Alive office located in South City Mall, or you can call us on 03 2186882 during office hours.  The cost for booking each of these spaces is:
$12.50 - for up to two hours
$20 - for up to four hours
$25 - for the day (between 9am and 5pm)
These prices are inclusive of GST and also include tea and coffee.
